| The movie starts like a horror film where the nurse is killed by an old man. Now the movie shows a family who is going to visit their village to attend the marriage of family members. Soon the old people who stay in retirement homes start attacking the people of the village. The film shows the conditions of the old people alone - broken which feels sad, and disturbing. The film tries to share the reality that young people are not interested in living with their old parents and young people are not want to help these old person. I like the good message given in this movie which I don't remember seeing previously in any other film. The message of "you rejecting old people today but tomorrow you become old and rejected". Definitely, the movie explores a unique concept that no one else yet explored. After the horror elements start film really made me scared. The old people who are killing all the other young people really feel scary. Some of the violence is hard to watch at some point disgusting. Till the end of the movie, I was confused about the motive of all these things happening. The movie also explores the internal issues of the family who tries to survive. I don't know why the movie chose to show the old people as complete zombies and showed the motive which doesn't justify what old people were doing (I mean acting like zombies). I was waiting for a cool twist in the end but I was kind of got disappointed. But the movie ended with giving some conclusions or explanations for the problem which they have shown. Old People Movie Explained (Spoiler Alert!): The movie explores the dark side of the modern world where young people completely rejected/rejecting old people. Now old people are all alone and not getting the love that they looking for or they do deserve. This alone and broken part made old people angry that's the reason they turned violent. Interesting Observation: Ruth Codd who played Anya kind of looked like Charlie Tahan who played Wyatt Langmore! |
