Malayalam cinema is the industry of Indian Malayalam movies. Just like America has Hollywood for English movies, the same way the Indian Kerala region has Malayalam cinema. In India, because different languages are followed, so different industries are present like for Telugu movies separate Tollywood, for Tamil movies, it's Kollywood cinema, for Marathi movies, it's a different industry, for Hindi movies it's Bollywood, etc. With rich and good content Malayalam cinema is not limited to the Kerala region. Now it started collecting from national to an international audience. Now more PAN India movies are getting released from Malayalam cinema. From Kurup (2021) and Minnal Murali (2021), Malayalam cinema proved it has more potential and now people all over India know about the Malayalam industry. Malayalam cinema releases so many films every year. Some movies get released in limited places, some released nationally and internationally. Every year some Malayalam cinema producers get rich and some lose money. But still, Malayalam cinema makes movies with the hope of making the best content. If you compare Malayalam cinema and Hollywood you will find a difference in the duration of the movie. Also, Malayalam cinema has 05-06 songs in every film, in Hollywood only starting ending song/music is included mostly. Hollywood movies are made with more budget than Malayalam cinema movies. Malayalam cinema movies always inspire, share happiness, motivate people. There are so many movies that get flop/disaster but Malayalam cinema always comes with different movies. Malayalam movies like Lucifer (2019), Pulimurugan (2016), Kurup (2021), Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham (2021), Kayamkulam Kochunni (2018), Drishyam (2013), Oppam (2016), Premam (2015), Mamangam (2019), Two Countries (2015), and Odiyan (2018) made Malayalam cinema recognized in the whole of India.
