Dev Anand is born on 26 September 1923 in Shakargarh, Punjab, British India (present-day Punjab, Pakistan). Dev Anand is one of the well-known actors in Bollywood. He worked in several successful Bollywood movies. Dev was an Indian Actor, Producer, and Director. He was active in Bollywood from 1946 to 2011. Dev mainly worked mainly in Hindi films. Dev married Kalpana Kartik in 1954. Dev Anand having two children Suneil Anand (Actor and Director) and Devina Anand. Dev won the Padma Bhushan (2001), Dadasaheb Phalke Award (2002), and won several awards for his acting work. Dev is mainly known for his work in Baazi (1951), Jaal (1952), Aandhiyan (1952), Humsafar (1953), Rahi (1953), Taxi Driver (1954), Insaniyat (1955), Munimji (1955), C.I.D. (1956), Funtoosh (1956), Paying Guest (1957), Kala Pani (1958), Kala Bazar (1960), Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai (1961), Hum Dono (1961), Maya (1961), Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja (1961), Asli-Naqli (1962), Tere Ghar Ke Samne (1963), Guide (1965), Jewel Thief (1967), Duniya (1968), Johny Mera Naam (1970), Hare Rama Hare Krishna (1971), Tere Mere Sapne (1971), Gambler (1971), Joshila (1973), Amir Garib (1974), and Warrant (1975). Dev's acting was always loved and he is the inspiration for new actors. Dev Anand worked in 112+ movies. Dev Anand produced and written several movies. On December 3, 2011, in London, England, UK at the age of 88, he died due to cardiac arrest. His acting is always loved and appreciated.
