Amjad Khan is born on 12 November 1940 in Bombay, Bombay Presidency, British India. Amjad Khan is one of the well-known actors and directors in Bollywood. Amjad Khan worked in Hindi, Telugu, English, and Kannada films. He is mainly known for his role of "Gabbar Singh" from the movie "Sholay (1975)". He was active in Bollywood from 1965 - 1992. Amjad Khan directed movies such as Adhura Aadmi (1982), Chor Police (1983), Ameer Aadmi Gharib Aadmi (1985), and Abhi To Main Jawaan Hoon (1989). Amjad married Shaila Khan in 1972. Amjad and Shaila had two sons Shadaab Khan (Actor), Seemaab Khan, and one daughter Ahlam Khan. Amjad Khan is born to Bollywood actor Jayant (Zakaria Khan). Amjad has two brothers Inayat Khan and Imtiaz Khan. Amjad got several awards for his contribution to Indian cinema. Amjad's acting was always loved and he is the inspiration for new actors. On 27 July 1992 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India at the age of 51, he died due to heart failure.
