Navin Nischol (born on 18 March 1946 in Lahore, Punjab, British India) is an Indian actor. He is mainly known for his work in Zorro (1975), Khosla Ka Ghosla! (2006), and Dhund (1973). Navin completed his school studies at Bangalore Military School, Bangalore, and college studies in King George Royal India Military College, Bangalore. Navin married "Neelu Kapur" Dev Anand's niece and sister of Shekhar Kapur. Neelu and Navin had two daughters Natasha (Makeup Artist and Air Hostess) and Nomita (Graphic designer and Fine artiste). Then later he married Geetanjali, on 24 April 2006, Geetanjali hanged herself at her residence. She blamed Navin and his brother Pravin for her suicide. Navin worked in box office hit movies like Victoria No. 203 (1972) and Dhund (1973), Hanste Zakhm (1973), and Aashiq Banaya Aapne (2005). He also worked in Punjabi movies Aasra Pyar Da (1983) and Mahaul Theek Hai (1999). After his successful career in movies, Navin started working in TV shows. His TV show Dekh Bhai Dekh was very famous and loved by the audience. Navin's father's name is C.L Nischol and his mother's name is Kamla Nischol. Navin having two brothers Praveen Nischol who is a Producer, Director, Writer and Sunil Nischol. Navin having one sister Sushma Kumar. Navin made his Bollywood movie debut with Sawan Bhadon (1970), made Punjabi movie debut with Aasra Pyar Da (1983), and made his TV Show debut with Rishte-Naate (1980). Navin Nischol worked in more than 120+ movies and 10+ TV shows. Break Ke Baad (2010) was his last acted film. Navin Nischol Death Reason: He died on 19 March 2011 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India at 65 age due to heart attack en route from Mumbai to Pune.
