Murad (born as Hamid Ali Murad on 1910 in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh) is an Indian actor. He is mainly worked for supporting roles in movies. He is mainly known for his work in Anokhi Ada (1948), Mughal-E-Azam (1960), and The Savage Princess (1952). He completed his school studies at Minto Circle (STS High School), Aligarh Muslim University. Throughout his career, he worked in more than 100 movies in the role of father, police officer, judge, and emperor. Bollywood actor Raza Murad is Murad's son. Costume designer - Producer Sabiha Kabir and Talat Khan are Murad's daughters. Murad made his Bollywood debut with Najma (1943). Shahenshah (1988) was his last acted movie. If you open a chapter of "Great actors of Bollywood history" you will surely see the name Murad in that list. His acting was always loved and appreciated.
Murad Death Reason: On April 24, 1997 at age of 86–87, Murad Ali died.
