Feroz Khan (born as Zulfiqar Ali Shah Khan on 25 September 1939 in Bangalore, Mysore Kingdom, British India (Present-day Bengaluru, Karnataka, India)) is an Actor, Film Editor, Producer, and Director. Feroz worked in more than 75+ movies. Feroz is mainly known for his work in movies such as Aurat, Safar, Mela, Upaasna, Apradh, Khotte Sikkay, Kala Sona, Dharmatma, and Qurbani. He also directed and done acting in movies such as Dayavan, Yalgaar, Janbaaz, Janasheen, Om Shanti Om, Meet Mere Man Ke, Prem Aggan, and Welcome. He won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award for "Aadmi Aur Insaan" in 1970 and was awarded the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000. Feroz Khan's father was "Sadiq Ali Khan Tanoli" - a Pathan from Ghazni province of Afghanistan and his mother Fatima, had Iranian ancestry. Feroz has completed his school studies at Bishop Cotton Boys' School and completed college studies at St. Germain High School, Bangalore. He had 04 brothers Shahrukh Shah Ali Khan, Shah Abbas Khan (Sanjay Khan), Semir Khan, and Akbar Khan. His 02 sisters are Khurshid Shahnavar and Dilshad Begum Sheikh, popularly known as Dilshad Bibi. After completing schooling in Bangalore, he traveled to Mumbai, Maharashtra, India where he made his debut as 2nd lead in Didi in 1960. Feroz Khan married Sundari Khan in 1965 and but they divorced in 1985. They have 02 children, Laila Khan (born 1970) and Fardeen Khan (born 1974). Actor Fardeen is married to Natasha Madhwani, daughter of former Bollywood actress Mumtaz. Feroz made his Bollywood debut with Ham Sab Chor Hain (1956). Welcome (2007) was Feroz's last acted movie. Feroz died from lung cancer on 27th April 2009 at the age of 69. During his illness, he returned to rest at his farmhouse in Bangalore. Feroz was buried in Bangalore near his mother's grave at Hosur Road Shia Kabristan.
