Emraan Hashmi (born as Syed Emraan Anwar Hashmi on 24 March 1979 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India) is an Indian Actor. Emraan Hashmi worked in more than 45+ movies. Emraan Hashmi mainly came in the lead role characters. He is mainly known for Raaz 3 horror movies. He completed his school studies from Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai, and college studies from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. Emraan completed Bcom graduation. He is the son of Anwar Hashmi a businessman and actor. His mother's name is Maherahh Hashmi she is an actress. Emraan's father is Muslim and his mother was a Christian lady, Emraan was brought up as a Muslim and says he is a "firm believer in God. He is having one brother Calvin Hashmi. Emraan married his childhood sweetheart Parveen Shahani in 2016. Emraan and Parveen had one son Ayaan Hashmi. Emraan nominated for three Filmfare Awards for his work in Bollywood. In addition to acting in films, Emraan has launched an autobiographical book "Kiss of Life" which dealt with his son Ayaan Hashmi's illness and is a prominent celebrity endorser for brands and products. On 15th Jan 2014, Ayaan Hashmi was diagnosed with 1st stage cancer. 5 years later, in 2019 January, Ayaan Hashmi was declared cancer-free. Emraan made their debut in Bollywood with Footpath (2003). Then he debuted to web series with Netflix show Bard of Blood in 2019. Emraan also worked as Assistant Director for the movie Raaz 2002. Emraan Hashmi mainly known for his Kissing scenes in Bollywood. Alia Bhatt is the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt so Alia Bhatt is cousin of Emraan.
