Ranvir Shorey (born on 18 August 1972), is a Bollywood actor, and previously worked as VJ(Video Jockey), Host. He worked in commercially hit movies like Bheja Fry, Mithya, Lakshya, Ek Chhotisi Love Story, Jism, Khosla Ka Ghosla, Traffic Signal, and Pyaar Ke Side Effects. He debuted to Television in 1998 with hosting a show called "Oye". He debuted to Bollywood in 2002 with which was Ek Chhotisi Love Story which was Hit in the box office. He also worked with Akshay Kumar in the Hit 2009 movie Singh Is Kinng. Unfortunately Ranvir, major lead movies are a flop in box office but his acting is always appreciated and loved. He worked with Salman Khan in the blockbuster movie Ek Tha Tiger (2012). Ranvir Shorey recognized as one of the finest actors in Bollywood. In one interview he shared he always thinks twice before selecting any movie, also he gives more importance to the script instead of money. For his amazing acting, he was nominated for "Popular Award", for acting in Titli (2014) and nominated for "Filmfare Awards", for acting in Sonchiriya (2019). Then he won "OTT Platform - Best Performance by an Actor in a Comic Role" for his work in Metro Park (2019).

Ranvir Shorey born in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. His father K.D. Shorey is a movie producer. His Lokesh Shorey brother is Actor. He completed his school in St. Theresa's High School, Bandra, Mumbai, Dayanand Model Senior Secondary School, Jalandhar, and did his college from Xavier's Institute Of Communication (XIC), Fort, Mumbai, Mithibai College, Mumbai. He started his career as a background worker in movies, later got an opportunity as Video Jockey(VJ), Host then he becomes an actor. He involved in affair controversy with actress, Pooja Bhatt. In 2010 he married his long time girlfriend actress Konkona Sen Sharma, but in 2015 they got separated because of personal issues. Ranvir and Konkona having one son named "Haroon Shorey". After the divorce, they both take joint custody of their son. Konkona and Ranvir are still friends. He actively speaks and puts his opinion about current matters in social media. During the corona issue, Ranvir Shorey donated money in PM cares fund, for fighting against corona.
